Social Distortion, Amos’ Southend November ’09
Here’s a few shots of the Social Distortion show back in November. Great show from what I remember. I must say, I spent most of time in the photo pit dodging Doc Martens and flying human bodies. It wasn’t easy but it was a lot of fun.
My main subject, Mike Ness is one of those guys who are easy to shoot. He’s expressive, confident and covered in tats. All those characteristics and you have the beginnings of a great shot. He’s a punk legend, and he looks like it.
This one is of the other guitar player. I’m not sure what his name is, but I love this shot.
