Pike’s Soda Shop , Charlotte NC 5 shot HDR
I just recently found out that my neighbors own an old school Soda shop in the heart of Southend Charlotte. Sunday Brunch here is a must, as is the old style Milk Shakes. I recommend the strawberry shake…best I’ve ever had.
This place has so much character and style. The malt shop scene in the Jack Black-Gweneth “Fishsticks” Paltrow in “Shallow Hal” was filmed here as well. I knew I had to ask the owners for a few minutes to take a few HDR shots. The place was perfect for HDR….at least I think so. If you are in Charlotte and are looking for a great meal, look them up. You will not be dissapointed. And do yourself a favor and get a milkshake!
