Larry Keel and the Natural Bridge concert 10/22/09 Visulite Theatre

I recently caught up with an old High School buddy who plays mandolin for the country/bluegrass outfit Larry Keel and the Natural Bridge.  The lovely assistant and I took in the show and were blown away by the musicianship and the flat out badassery of my old high schoool buddy.  Only when we saw Ricky Skaggs a year ago have I been this impressed with a mandolin player.  There’s something about traditional bluegrass that makes you have a smile from ear to ear after a show.  It just does something positive to your body.

Well here is my friend Mark Schimick…he’s the one in the blue shirt and the smokin mandolin.
